DESCRIPTION: The Prior Swallowtail Splitboard is a performance backcountry snowboard that provides an effortless, directional powder ride. The proven swallowtail design means that the tail sinks in the powder - as a result the rider can power equally off both feet and does not have to lean back to keep his/her tip up. The Swallowtail Splitboard comes complete with a custom insert pack, Voile hardware and climbing skins. Simply attach regular snowboard bindings and the board is ready to go. Note: splitboards split apart to ascend into the backcountry with the help of removable adhesive skins on the base of the board halves. At the summit it quickly connects back together into a snowboard.
