DESCRIPTION:
BY WILLE YLI-LUOMA Enjoy flight! It’s 2005 and it’s time to figure out my next board with K2. K2 once again has given me full control of my board - shape, look, name, pretty much everything. The board shapes are kind of easy because it all makes sense. You want the board to turn and have pop to ollie. Graphics are way more work and it takes time to figure out something that the others and I will like. This spring I was spending time with my family and I saw my daughter draw these amazing drawings. I called my friend Antti who I have been working with the past five years to go over ideas. He told me to take the drawings that my daughter had made with me to the USA and we would use them somehow on my board. So, basically, the graphics are drawn by Lilou and edited by Antti Rastivo. "Enjoy Flight" comes from a little girl in Tokyo who wanted to wish me well. The name is "LIWE" but pronounced "LIVE." It came from something Lilou randomly had written. I want to thank K2, Antti Rastivo and Lilou for this amazing piece of art. -Wille

BY WILLE YLI-LUOMA The Temptation 1979 is back in true form. Once again, we let Wille go nuts and design himself a board. With a medium flex and Carbon Pre-cured top to give it super POP, the Nineteen 79 is coming off a top ten finish from Transworld’s "good wood" boards. More»
