DESCRIPTION:
Experience the enchantment of Gnu’s best-selling snowboard outfitted with the magic of Magne-Traction. The 2008 Gnu Carbon High Beam MTX uses quality Mervin sandwich construction and features a lightweight Aspen wood core with a flex fit for freestyle fun. Magne-Traction technology gives you serrated edges that grip where you need it most, for deliciously unbelievable control. And with its rugged Eiss 5 Sidewalls providing super low swing weight and a CX 2500 low-maintenance base, the Gnu Carbon High Beam MTX is a twin-tipped speed machine. The graphic for this year’s Gnu Carbon High Beam was designed by Tim Karpinksi with a Smith-Corona Classic 12 typewriter, and tells a short story about why Mervin Manufacturing is the best snowboard factory in the world. Experience that wonder for yourself, when you ride the expertly-designed 2008 Gnu Carbon High Beam MTX freestyle snowboard.

Strengths: good pop, durable, stable
Weaknesses: a little bit stiff for my taste, its also not a true twin which means a set back stance
