| First fact you ought to know - Tamarack Resort derives its name from the signature grove of Tamarack trees that sits on the mountainside just north of the resort's entrance. Unlike other conifers, Tamarack's are deciduous trees. Needles transform to a brilliant gold during the autumn months, fall off during the winter then sprout new needles in the spring.
Second fact you need to know - Tamarack gives claim to having Idaho's first SuperPipe. Hells Canyon, using Zaugg Pipe Monster technology, is 400' long with 18' walls at a 16 degree pitch. Very sweet indeed!
