DESCRIPTION:
Obviously freestyle-oriented but not sectarist, this is our high end Twin Tip, perfectly symetrical. From the deep sidecut to the Dual Torsion Box, everything in this board feels like escaping to the open fields, jib or backcountry style… Not unlike the circus animals from the graphics. Anyone considering a tamer's position?

Strengths: stiff, responsive, stable at speed & on edge, VERY easy to land big jumps, the harder it's ridden the better it responds Compared back to back with old Burton Custom (5 years old), Custom X, Jussi, Ride Kink, Rossi Alias, Lib Tech (forgot which one); we found the old Custom was a POS, the Custom X was better for jibbing, but too flexy for everything else, the Jussi was a bit stiffer, but slower too and wasn't as stable. 2 other guys liked it better, but it felt slow to me. The Decoy was not nearly the jibbing board the Kink was (I wouldn't get off of it), but the Kink wasn't much good for anything else (too soft). The Lib Tech was even more stable than the Decoy and was about as quick, but I never felt quite comfortable with spinning and landing on it. it dug in, but not the way I wanted it to (the Decoy is stable, but easily controlled when landing 7s easy). The Alias was a helluva lot of fun for jibbing and smaller jumps (3s easy), but I prefer a stiffer board and more bite on my edges. Recommended for anyone that just wants a cheap board to dick around and destroy (sturdy board), but too soft for me. ended up with the decoy (one of my buds picked up the Jussi that day) Made in Spain, Rossi isn't a known for their boards but they did a great job with this one. Excellent build quality and the Decoy was the only RS I ever saw with a decent graphic. They really need to work on that
Weaknesses: stiffness keeps it from being a really good jibbing board (better than average, but not as nice as say... a Ride Kink), kinda heavy compared with other boards-stable as all hell though
