DESCRIPTION:
The MFR is the ultimate, lift accessed, mountain explorer providing unequalled control over the complete gamut of winter riding conditions. The MFR is designed for riders of all abilities searching for a high- performance freeride snowboard that will take them to the next level. The MFR has incomparable edge hold and fall line speed--great for BX racers and soft boot carvers, cruisers and powder hounds, cornice droppers and explorers. The MFR is available in a complete size range and various waist widths to accommodate riders of all sizes and abilities. Conditions: Steeps, trees, powder, groom, ice, crud, air and backcountry exploration, the MFR provides confidence, stability and predictability. Shape: The MFR has a directionally shaped, tapered core, setback stance, and has a longer, more gradually shaped nose than tail. Each of these components work in synch to provide enhanced freeride performance. Turning Radius: A reasonably long radius creates an easy turning board with increased fall line speed and stability. Flex: The MFR’s moderately stiff overall flex pattern is integral to the performance of this board. The flex is relatively stiff in the insert area and immediately behind the back foot for power and stability. Subtle forgiveness in the nose section keeps the tip afloat in the pow. Correct torsional stability provides unparalleled edge control while maintaining the feel of the snow in varied conditions. Strength: Bombproof. All Prior styles are built to last. Ride: Smooth, stable and predictable.

Strengths: I got the 2010 Hybrid rocker 168. This thing rocks! I have ridden every thing from Ice to powder with it and the thing is brilliant. I weigh 106Kg`s and fitted some Ride alpha bindings. The board is crisp, responsive and very fast in a straight line. the rocker makes the 168 turn and control like a smaller board but makes it float in powder. the board is stiff and durable which makes it fun to ride at speed. Recommend the MFR 2010 hybrid rocker for an intermediate to advanced rider, who is looking for a non-mass-produced and well made board like I was.
Weaknesses: these are tips rather that weaknesses: Because the rocker makes the board quick to respond it not for beginners. you need to maintain an edge on hard pack or icy conditions as the rockered board will get a bit moody if your not on your game and completely in control.
