Description
Seek solitude beyond resort boundaries with the self-propelled power of the world’s most capable split board. In touring mode, the S-Series™ effortlessly blazes past all the post-holing chumps, before quickly converting to powder slasher at the summit. For the ride down, we sought inspiration from the legendary Supermodel™ to guarantee the board floats, spins, and slashes like a snowboard’s supposed to. Say “hello” to the gold card posers and their heli at the summit for us.

Strengths: When all parts were still attached, you can't even feel the split, no chatter or instability.
Weaknesses: The tip and tail clips are constantly loosening, and after about 6 trips (tightening the hardware on the clips constantly) I still eventually lost BOTH the tip and tail clip. With just the tail clip missing, it was rideable. With both missing- it was not. The little plastic part attached to the binding lever also broke off. All in all, the board itself is well made but Burton didn't pay enough attention to the small parts, and really something like this is only as good as it's weakest link. Switching the bindings from telemark to riding is fast and simple when you're in the store, but when its caked in snow and ice, it can be quite time consuming. Bring a toothpick to clean out the ice and snow, you'll need it!
