DC Ghost, 2008

Description

For experienced, all-mountain riders like Devun Walsh, DC offers one of the stiffest boots they make the Men’s Ghost Snowboard Boot. Riding at breakneck speeds is a little less precarious when you have the support of the Ghost’s pump-up air liner. A release valve on the outside of the liner lets you adjust the air bladder’s pressure to your preferred fit. An articulated cuff gives you both lateral and forward flex with excellent support, so the only thing you need to worry about breaking in is that untracked powder. A toe gel pad cushions on hard landings. PU-coated mesh uppers keep wet snow where it belongs while letting your feet get a little fresh air. The CTR rubber sole hardens to form traction-enhancing spikes when temps fall below 32F.
