Strengths: Great pop, I can carve strong and pop up 2 feet. Its amazing and light as hell
Weaknesses: Graphics but who really cares when your tearing it up

Strengths: Good at high speed, very stable. Very economical on the flat, easily keeps it`s speed. If you like going down the mountain in one direction -straight - it`s the board for you. Built for speed. It`s got a soft flex but rides over the bumps easily provided once again it`s down the mountain not accross it.
Weaknesses: Got the feeling from riding that the board was built to go in one direction, rather difficult to turn i felt. As in ship. Maybe it was the length I had the 164, and I`m 180pounds 6 foot, size 12US

Strengths: Anyone can ride this board, it can make any rider from low-intermediate to advanced happy. Good for jibbing. Great all-around board.
Weaknesses: Kinda soft & flexy in my personal opinion. A bit overpriced. Basically a lighter and slightly stiffer Custom.

Strengths: Best board I've ridden to date. Demoed many before I bought. Leather topsheet acts like one big stomp pad. If you can get at $350 or better, buy it (Of course, demo one before you buy - see if it suits you).
Weaknesses: Top sheet is more durable then I thought it would be BUT it will tear underneath your bindings. NBD unless you change bindings with different/smaller foot print.

Strengths: adjustment posibilities are very good, hit few times and still OK (material is strong)
Weaknesses: material for straps (inside) could be better(also for plate), 3rd hole for ankle strapadjustment is missing :( capstrap could be a bit smaller (touching the snow during carving) - new design is better

Strengths: I bought a Custom because I really wanted to step up my riding, my other board had too much flex (I’m not a jibber) so based on my ability and such good reviews I decided to buy a Custom. Top board, held an edge really good, the stiffness was just right for me, though having said that it does have a weakness, I found that the base scratches easily, I found heaps of fine scratches after one day of riding, but the conditions weren’t the greatest. And I don’t see the fine scratches affecting the performance of the board. I know there are heaps of good reviews on this boards but it deserves it, Burton has built a strong reputation and knows how to make a great board, Burton invests a lot of money and time into product testing and it has paid off.

Strengths: The very best board in the Burton snowboard line-up. The Custom X is the pinnacle of high performance all-mountain boarding. Flawless edge hold and a nice powerful, perfect flex make this board a killer in all conditions. Solid performance in the pow too.
Weaknesses: The price can be a little stiff but I can think of nothing negative on this board.

Strengths: Took my skills from a 5.5 to a 7.5 just by going with a quality board! Excellent carving, fairly light, nice edges, good for all-mountain or for getting technical in the park.
Weaknesses: Price wasn`t awesome at $550...

Strengths: Very snappy. Not too stiff. Great graphics.
Weaknesses: This deck did not meet its hype for me. I gleaned to own a custom X for the past 5 years and now I have it. I have upgraded from a 2005 standard custom and I felt it practically rode the same. I thought I was going to improve my ripping status. I thought I was gonna pull bigger airs, speed down the grooms faster. It did not. A high end board will not magically improve your riding. Its riding time! Spend your money on lift tickets instead! I felt it rode the same as my 2005 regular custom which I have upgraded from.

Strengths: Very adjustable for lower cost binding, reasonably light and well cushioned, hiback cusioning does not break down as the more expensive Cartel cushioning does, good all round binding, toe strap better than cartel toe strap, grips well. Good all rounder and quite tough. Frosted versions look great.
Weaknesses: A little heavier then more expensive bindings, straps do get stiff in the very cold but I had no breakages or stuck/slipping ratchets so all good. Nice leather, very soft but where rubbed by my wire laces on Boa boots wears quickly, prob ok on other types of boot. Not a massive score because they are relatively heavy, if you want supreme light bindings do not go for these, if you are anywhere between Intermediate down to first timer these are perfect.

Weaknesses: Too much plastic (on the baseplate that is) Ride more then a winter with them; the plastic will heat and weaken.

Strengths: Burton threw their full R&D force at this one, the result is seriously the pinnacle in snowboard weaponry, super-light, super-fast, super-responsive, did we mention super-light. If you`ve the cheddar, this is the best board period for riding the whole mountain. I know you want one. We all want one.
